Global protection by patenting the concept.

From product patent to concept patent

An International Patent Bureau concluded that protection of a new invention was only possible by applying for a patent on the product. This conclusion caused the investor to stop the innovation project. However the concept of this product was so new, that we felt that there was a good chance that a global patent would be granted on the total concept. The investor also became convinced that this would be the best value protection for this invention.

Five intense days

After five days of heavy brainstorming and testing we had determined all possible variants of which this product could be made. The patent specification was written under our supervision and detail drawings were made.

The result: global protection!

The novelty searches showed that alls claims were new. As a result the patent was granted on the total concept. Thus the investment in this new product was protected for a period of  twenty years.
